Families can get a head start on the school year during South Florida Family Life’s Back To School Event at Coral Square Mall on Aug. 7.
This free, educational event coincides with Florida’s back-to-school sales-tax holiday, giving families even more reason to join the festivities.
The Back To School Event includes arcade games, train rides, bungee jumping, arts and crafts, prize wheels and other family fun, plus exhibitors with plenty of information on school, camp and after-care choices in South Florida.
Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, which is sponsoring the Back To School Event, will be on site with health and safety information for attendees of all ages. The event is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 9469 W. Atlantic Blvd. in Coral Springs.
