Birthday Block Party and Pool Bash at the L.A. Lee YMCA/Mizell Community Center

The L.A. Lee YMCA/Mizell Community Center in Fort Lauderdale is celebrating its third anniversary, and the South Florida community is invited to join the ultimate Block Party on Saturday, May 10.

This exciting celebration is packed with a live DJ, family-friendly fun, delicious eats and treats from food trucks Kona Ice and Wingz on Wheelz 954, and interactive games and activities for everyone!

The fun does not stop there—cool off at our Pool Party featuring water games and refreshing poolside activities. It’s guaranteed to be a day filled with sun, music, and FUN!

Additionally, the Y will be hosting the following events leading up to the Block Party as part of the L.A. Lee YMCA/Mizell Community Center’s third anniversary celebrations:

• Member Appreciation Day (Monday, May 5 @ 7 a.m. – Noon) – The Y will serve complimentary refreshments for members from. Other activities include special group exercise classes and a wellness fair.
• Provident Hospital Reunion (Tuesday, May 6 @ 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.) – Guests will come together in the Y’s Victory Black Box Theatre to honor the rich history and lasting impact of Provident Hospital.
