An Opera Reggae Concert! Florida Grand Opera teams up with the Rhythm Foundation and the City of Miami Beach to present ‘Hit Me With Music’, a family-friendly event at the Miami Beach Bandshell. Featuring musical selections from Bizet to Bob Marley, this lighthearted exploration of common themes between the two genres and will include traditional reggae, opera, and a playful blend of the two styles.

This Only-In-Miami experience is a special program of Florida Grand Opera, and will feature company members of the esteemed organization. FGO is the longest-running performing arts organization in Florida, and has been synonymous with world class opera in Miami for more than 80 years!
Miami Beach Arts in the Parks is a series of free performing arts events presented at the Miami Beach Bandshell by Rhythm Foundation, with support from the City of Miami Beach.
Food & beverage are available for purchase at the show. The Bandshell is an open-air covered venue, all programs are rain or shine.
