This year’s thematic artwork “Tails and Tales” for Broward County Library’s Summer Learning Program was designed by award-winning author/illustrator/creator Salina Yoon. What better way to conclude our summer then to celebrate with Salina Yoon, author/illustrator/creator of over 200 books for young children including Big Bear’s Day, Stormy Night, That’s My Book!, and My Kite is Stuck! The day of:
1. Will start with a Kahoot! game about Salina Yoon and about some of her books!
– All who attend will be entered into a raffle drawing for a chance to win a Salina Yoon book character(stuffed toy).
2. Salina Yoon will then join us.
Ms. Yoon shares her process—being the author/illustrator/creator of so many books, her inspiration and the creation process.
Ms. Yoon will then do a short reading and talk about one of the stories from My Kite Is Stuck.

* When you register you can print out: HOW TO WRITE A STORY; Salina will go over during her program.
