Coral Springs Oktoberfest

The City of Coral Springs is excited to, once again, break out the beer steins and lace up the lederhosen for Oktoberfest on the Great Lawn of City Hall on Saturday, October 14 (9500 W Sample Rd) from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Residents can say “Guten Tag” to German fare, Bavaria-style contests, lively music, and more. The family-friendly event will feature beverages and games for adults ages 21 as well as a Kinder Carnival with activities for children. Contests for adults include a Beer Stein Race, a Beer Stein-Holding Competition, and a Yodeling Contest. Authentic Bavarian cuisine, along with select food trucks, will be available on-site. In addition, a Beer Garden and drink stations will be offered, with a ceremonial keg tapping taking place at 6 p.m.

Back by popular demand: Dachshund owners are invited to enter their dogs into the annual Oktoberfest Wiener Dog Race. Participation is limited, and wiener dog-owners must register by Friday, October 6 online.
