Frank Contemporaries is a free monthly pop-up exhibition and meet-up for emerging creative and visual arts professionals to network and foster connections. The July Frank Contemporaries will feature photographs taken throughout Africa by nature photographer, author and researcher Kirsten Hines. This event will include a presentation on the ‘Embrace Music Foundation’ by co-founder and board chair, musician and educator Willie Stewart, as well as an African dance and drumming performance led by Anita Macbeth, dance teacher at Bethune Elementary School of Visual & Performing Arts and former choreographer for the Bronx Council of the Arts, New York Housing Authority. This event is free to the public. Complimentary refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
