The Broward Center offers a robust lineup of Frozen-themed experiences this December as the MD Now® Urgent Care Slow Burn Theatre Company brings Disney’s Frozen to the stage from December 13 – January 3, presented by United Community Bank. Featuring Anna, Elsa and the magical world of Arendelle, the production invites audiences of all ages into a beloved winter adventure.
A sensory-inclusive performance of Disney’s Frozen takes place Saturday, December 13 at 1:30 p.m., presented by the Broward Center. Designed for guests who benefit from a more relaxed environment, this performance features modified technical elements and a welcoming setting. A designated ABA Centers of Florida Sensory Quiet Room staffed with trained therapists will be available, and Young at Art Museum will offer complimentary pre-show arts and crafts activities.
On Sunday, December 14, families can extend the celebration at Wonder Wonderland: A “Frozen” Family Celebration presented by Alice and Mike Jackson. Beginning at 12:00 p.m., the festive event includes a buffet, themed beverages for children and adults, arts and crafts, face painting, a “frosty” photo moment and a DJ dance party before the 2:00 p.m. performance. Proceeds support the Broward Center’s arts-in-education programs.
Families can ring in the New Year early at the Broward Center’s Noon Year’s Eve celebration on Wednesday, December 31. Starting at 11 a.m., guests can enjoy arts and crafts, a dance contest and prizes before the 12:00 p.m. performance of Disney’s Frozen.
