Moth Night

As part of the National Moth Week celebration, Long Key Nature Center staff will be setting up equipment to attract moths for viewing and photographing. Stop by to see the vast variety of colors, shapes and sizes that can be found in the moths of South Florida. This effort will contribute to our understanding of moth populations in protected areas such as Long Key–and demonstrate how lepidopterists do their work with lights, sheets, and potions that moths find irresistible. All ages welcome, $5 per person.
