Scissor Salsa Cooking Workshop for Kids

Kids ages 5 to 12 roll up their sleeves and get cookin’ with the team behind the soon-to-open Doral Yard to make a delicious, nutritious and very colorful scissor salsa! Foster your kids’ love of veggies at this hands-on workshop led by Chef Julie Frans of The Wynwood Yard. Kids will cut up, mix and prepare a vibrant salsa you’ll want to keep the recipe for and proudly share it with you, while they learn about the benefits of eating fresh vegetables and pick up new skills to make their own salsa and chips dish at home.
