Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida brings back the most traditional and classic ballet of them all: “The Nutcracker”. One of the most popular versions of this beloved fairy tale returns to the stage to delight audiences with its cherished music and brilliant dancing. The annual production of Tchaikovsky’s iconic score (based on the tale of Ernest Hoffman, choreographed and directed by Ballet Master Vladimir Issaev himself) will bring snowflakes, sugarplums, naughty little boys and magical dolls to the scene, along with the company awarded dancers and local artists. This year shows will be live streamed from Arts Ballet studios in North Miami Beach as well as presented live on stage with a limited audience at the Amaturo Theater at the Broward Performing Arts Center. Seating at this venue will allow for 6ft of distance for your safety and masks are required. These performances will also be live streamed through our platforms.
Over the years, this festive family-friendly ballet presented by the Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida has become a cherished tradition within the families of South Florida during the Holiday Season. In this program, Arts Ballet features its team of professional dancers performing the principal roles accompanied by a community cast made up of local character artists and children for the party scene.
It is a true enjoyable alternative and very close to the Russian classical style to ballet audiences in South Florida.
