Experience the sights, sounds and flavors of the Caribbean at the Pompano Beach Caribbean Fest on Saturday, October 19. A feast for the senses, the third annual event touts an array of food and fun for everyone.

This years lineup of entertainment includes headliner Nailah Blackman, an up-and-coming musical sensation in Trinidad & Tobago. The daughter of well-known Soca artist Abbi Blackman and granddaughter of the late Ras Shorty I, founder of Soca Music (a blend of African and East Indian rhythms), Nailah Blackman is expected to wow the crowd with her musical talents.

Additional entertainment includes music by DJ Mike Cooley, DJ Red, and opening acts, Paul Anthony & Reggae Souljahs, and bachata and merengue composer and singer, Mr. Emocion.

Dont forget to bring your appetite. There will be plenty of food to fill up on with a variety of food trucks and vendors to choose from.

The Pompano Beach Caribbean Fest takes place from 5 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, October 19 at Community Park, 1801 NE Sixth St., Pompano Beach.
