There are oh so many ways to celebrate the Red, White & Blue. Here’s a sampling of some of South Florida’s Independence Day fireworks, parades and celebrations.
All events take place on Monday, July 4 unless otherwise stated in the event’s description.
BROWARD COUNTY
Coral Springs
Join the city’s annual Fourth of July celebration with entertainment, family activities, food and a grand fireworks display at 9pm. 5-9pm, Mullins Park

Davie
Enjoy a community celebration and night of family fun featuring live music, rides, kids’ activities, food trucks and a fireworks display. Davie residents only. 6-9pm, Bamford Sports Complex

Deerfield Beach

A day of old-fashioned fun with a parade along El Mar Drive starting at 10am, followed by family-friendly activities until 3pm. Fireworks display at 9pm. El Prado Park

Kick off the day with a parade starting at 9am down Margate Boulevard. The fun continues with a Calypso Cove Pool Party from 1-4pm followed by an evening celebration with live music and food trucks from 5-9pm and a fireworks display at 9pm.

Pembroke Pines

Plantation
The City of Plantation presents Stars & Stripes, a celebration that includes a parade at 9am at Broward Boulevard and NW 46 Avenue and evening festivities, including live music at 7pm and a fireworks display at 9pm at Plantation Central Park.
Pompano Beach
Gather at the beach to listen to a live band and DJ tunes followed by fireworks at 9pm. 5:30-9:30pm, Pompano Beach Fishing Pier

Sunrise
Floats will wind their way west along Sunset Strip from NW 12 Street to City Park, where the fun continues with free refreshments and kids’ entertainment. 9am-noon
In the evening, join your neighbors for children’s activities, live music and a fireworks display. Free. 4:30-9:30pm, FLA Live Arena

Join this Hometown Celebration with two-days of family activities. Sunday, July 3 features a family night at the park followed by fireworks, and Monday, July 4 includes a festive 5K run and walk and a parade. Weston Regional Park

Coral Gables
Celebrate Independence Day with a festive celebration and beautiful fireworks display. Grounds open at 5pm; concert begins at 7pm; fireworks start at 9pm. Biltmore Hotel Golf Course

Activities for the whole family begin at 6pm and a grand finale fireworks display starts at 9:20pm. Event is for Doral residents only at Trump National Doral. Limited tickets available.
