What could be sweeter than spending a Sunday afternoon surrounded by your family, sampling some of South Florida’s tastiest ice cream.
That’s what’s in store at the Family Ice Cream Social from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, February 23 at Loews Miami Beach Hotel. The annual event, part of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, includes a wide range of sweet and savory treats to satisfy your tastebuds. Participating companies include: Azucar Ice Cream, Cry Baby Creamery, Miami ‘N’ Ice, Phuse Cream, Tio Colo, Whip N Dip, Santo Dulce! Churros & Ice Cream and Sweet Melody Crated Ice Cream Co.
The event is hosted by the Zakarian Family. Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian is a globally renowned chef, restaurant, executive TV producer, TV host, and national best-selling cookbook author. Margaret Zakarian serves as President of Zakarian Hospitality LLC. She also sits on the board of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO Metro) and is also a member of City Harvest’s Food Council.
