Broward County

Margate – Kick off the day with a small-town parade starting at 10am down Margate Boulevard. The fun continues with a Calypso Cove Pool Party from 1-4pm followed by an evening celebration with live music and food trucks from 5-9pm and a fireworks display at 9pm.www.margatefl.com

Plantation – The City of Plantation celebrates 70 Years of Community and Independence Day with a parade at 9am at Broward Boulevard and NW 46 Avenue, and activities beginning at 6pm that include a Kids’ Fun Zone and concert at Plantation Central Park, and a fireworks display at 9pm. http://www.plantation.org

Doral – Activities for the whole family begin at 6pm and a grand finale fireworks display starts at 9:20pm.
