Now and then, a new local spot opens that makes you stop and say, “Well, I didn’t see that coming.” The Jellyfish Museum, located in Pompano Beach, is exactly that kind of place.
Located just steps from the beach and the Pompano Beach pier, the Jellyfish Museum is an immersive indoor attraction dedicated entirely to jellyfish. Yes, jellyfish. And while that may sound oddly specific at first, it turns out to be a surprisingly beautiful idea.
Inside, visitors can expect glowing tanks, graceful movement and a calm, almost dreamlike atmosphere. It’s dark inside while the star attractions float like moving art on the walls. It’s best to take a slower approach and appreciate these miracles of nature, which are actually grown at the facility.
