MOCA Mini Makers
Every first Saturday of every month, this hands-on art class for kids helps to bring the museum’s exhibits to life for young artists ages 6-12. Young makers are taught about the elements of art through painting, drawing and sculpting projects inspired by renowned artists. The YMCA’s Family Center and community-based aftercare programs for elementary and middle-school students are designed to empower youth and build their academic and creative abilities. The Y Experience includes project-based learning, YFit curriculum, social skills, literacy activities and homework help, as well as summer and non-school day programs that focus on both athletics and academics. The Y also offers inclusion programs for children with special needs.

This unique approach to helping kids master math and reading is a structured, self-learning program that teaches kids the critical thinking skills and study skills needed to learn new materials. More than just tutoring, Kumon offers programs for ages 3-5 to begin learning math and reading, for ages 6-12 to develop a firm foundation, and ages 13 and older to advance their skills. Miami Children’s Museum Mini Mondays
Help your infants and toddlers grow and develop through play during this weekly program full of activities specifically designed for children from birth to age 5.
