Ocean Explorers for incoming 7th and 8th grade students. Campers will explore coastal marine and coral reef ecosystems at Dania Beach. They will conduct estuary and barrier island field work, see FAU's ocean engineering and electronics labs, submarines and flow tunnel plus see FAU SeaTech's unmanned autonomous submarine in action. Students can design, build and race a solar powered boat. They will learn about marine science careers. Campers spend Monday and Friday at the Museum and Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday at FAU's SeaTech in Dania Beach, FL.
