Celebrando Juntos Community Fun Fair

Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Padrón Campus will host its first Celebrando Juntos Community Fun Fair, a free back-to-school community celebration featuring a
backpack and school supply giveaway for the first 200 children, family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and more.

The first 200 children will receive backpacks donated by Take Stock in Children and filled with school supplies provided by the City of Miami Mayor’s Office. The event will
also feature a farmers market, food trucks, a petting zoo, bounce house, climbing wall, face painting, salsa instruction and more. Families can also explore police and fire rescue vehicles and the Miami-Dade County Mobile Library, while learning about MDC academic programs, student services and educational opportunities.

Celebrando Juntos is part of the I AM MDC Celebrations, Miami Dade College’s annual event highlighting 66 years of changing lives through education. The initiative also raises support for student scholarships and programs.
