Star Wars, Harry Potter, James Bond, Pirates of the Caribbean and more: kids free, costumes encouraged!
The Orchid City Brass Band, South Florida’s original British-style brass band, opens its 2026-27 season, Soaring With Brass, with Spooktackular, a Halloween concert of iconic movie music performed by 30 musicians in costume.
The program features music from Star Wars, Harry Potter, James Bond, The Godfather, Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones, The Incredibles and The Lord of the Rings, all arranged for British-style brass band: an ensemble of cornets, flugelhorn, tenor horns, euphoniums and tubas instead of the trumpets and French horns of a typical concert band.
Spooktackular is built for families. Students and children attend free, and groups of 10 or more save 25%. Come in costume: a costume contest with prizes takes place before the performance, and the musicians will be dressed up, too.
Every OCBB member is a volunteer, and the band welcomes students from more than 200 Palm Beach County schools through free tickets, classroom visits and Discovery Concerts.
Tickets: $25 general admission. Students and children FREE. Groups of 10 save 25%. Season passes for all four 2026-27 concerts are $60.
