St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Coral Springs is excited to present its 31st Annual Craft Show and Rummage Sale on Saturday, October 18h from 9 am – 5:00 pm and Sunday, October 19th from 8:30 am – 2 pm. Our popular “Granny’s Attic” Flea Market and Rummage Sale will be open on the patio during the show (we close at 2 pm on Saturday). Free admission to Craft Show and Rummage Sale. Vendors take credit cards, but items sold by the church, including everything at the rummage sale, is cash only. Nova Southeastern University and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital look forward to welcoming you to the 2025 A Day for Children. This free event combines health literacy for children with a range of family fun. Attendees will be entertained with activities from Young at Art, Preggo Dance, This Is Improv, face-painting from Top Hat Entertainment, South Florida Cloggers, Native Village, Town of Davie Fire Rescue, a live performance from Florida Children’s Theater, singing from the Girl Choir of South Florida. Miss Penny from South Florida PBS KidVision will also make a special appearance. Each child will receive a free book for their home library.

You’re invited as an esteemed guest to honor the brave men and women who served in our military at the City of Tamarac’s Veterans Day Ceremony, at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, November 11, at Tamarac Veterans Park, 7825 NW 88th Ave. The ceremony includes a keynote address, musical sections from “The Miamians,” and remarks from elected officials. Please join in honoring America’s veterans for their patriotism, love of our country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good. The Tamarac Veterans Affairs Committee will be on-site collecting donations of non-perishable food, toiletry items, socks and hand towels to support the needs of unhoused veterans.

On Sunday, November 16, 2025, nearly a thousand Miamians will gather at Regatta Park for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Out of the Darkness Walk. A powerful community event raising awareness, funding research, and supporting those affected by suicide.

Suicide is the 11th leading cause of death in the United States, yet it’s often left unspoken. For many, this walk is a chance to honor loved ones, connect with survivors, and send a visible message of hope. Participants wear honor beads in different colors representing their personal connection to the cause, creating unity and remembrance.

The Miami Walk is part of a nationwide movement that brings together participants across all 50 states. Funds raised directly support AFSP’s mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide; through education, advocacy, research, and support for survivors of loss.

In addition to the cast, Bethlehem Revisited has live animals and an atmosphere of spiritual peace and love that invites us to leave the commercialism of today’s world and refocus on the true reason for the season. You can enter the town of Bethlehem between 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Friday; 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday; and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Monday and Tuesday.
