Join us at Gravity Gymnastics in Miramar, Florida for our FREE Disney-themed Preschool Open Gym Party on Wednesday, May 13th from 10:00–11:00 AM.

A fun, active indoor event for little ones to move, play, and explore in a safe, structured space.

Kids will enjoy:

• Open play in the gym

Enjoy a free concert series with a broad range of musical varieties featuring a different live performer each showtime! Carter Park Jamz takes place on the third Friday of select months from 7 to 10 p.m. at Carter Park.

For several years, Carter Park Jamz has provided residents and visitors with the opportunity to experience music outdoors with their family and friends while relaxing under the evening stars. Residents and visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and coolers. Food and beverages are available for purchase.

The concert is free to attend. From R&B to pop, Carter Park Jamz has it all!

Bring a blanket or chair to the beautiful Hollywood ArtsPark for a FREE show by jazz legend Joe Lovano – real jazz by the living master of the tenor sax and his quartet.

Joe Lovano has performed and recorded with a long list of jazz greats including Woody Herman, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Bill Frisell, Tony Bennett, Abbey Lincoln, Charlie Haden, John Scofield, McCoy Tyner, Ed Blackwell, Herbie Hancock, Dave Holland, Chucho Valdés, Ornette Coleman, Diana Krall, and many others. Joe has created an extensive body of work for his own ensembles.

Opening set by Fort Lauderdale’s award-winning Dillard Center for the Arts (DCA) Jazz Ensemble. This 21-member high school jazz band has been recognized nationally for its excellence, winning the prestigious Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Competition in New York City multiple times. The current director Voshaun Smith is an alumni of the band!

The Hollywood Arts Park Experience is produced by the Rhythm Foundation for the City of Hollywood.

Join us this Memorial Day as we honor and remember the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

This meaningful ceremony will include tributes, music by the Fort Lauderdale Symphonic Winds with James Perkowski, a parade of colors, an honor guard gun salute, and more, culminating in a dove release in remembrance of our fallen heroes.

Easy Star All-Stars have spent nearly two decades at the forefront of international reggae, blending musical versatility, powerful instrumentation, rich harmonies, and a premier rhythm section. Their genre-crossing sound brings together fans of reggae, classic rock, dub, and indie into one vibrant community. The band is best known for their acclaimed tribute albums, including Dub Side of the Moon, Radiodread, Easy Star’s Lonely Hearts Dub Band, and Easy Star’s Thrillah. Their latest release, Ziggy Stardub, reimagines David Bowie’s iconic album with guest appearances by Macy Gray, Maxi Priest, Steel Pulse, Fishbone, Alex Lifeson, and Vernon Reid. This free community concert is produced by the Rhythm Foundation for the City of Hollywood, with metered parking available nearby.
