Worth the Trip: Gumbo Limbo Nature Center
You may have passed by Gumbo Limbo while on an A1A drive – but didn’t realize the beauty beyond the entrance. The center is dedicated to coastal preservation and is mainly known as a refuge for sick and injured sea turtles. As of press time, the sea turtles have been moved to other facilities for care, but updates will be posted on Gumbo Limbo’s website about their return.
